One crazy week in sports

ow! What a week in sports. The problems were many, and all were serious. In one case it was state troopers; in another, the spectre of portly goofballs taking stiff rights to the face; in still another, players unable to wait for the game to start before acting like idiots. Are those just abberations? Or is there something to be learned here?

Incident one - Pre-game festitivies in Cleveland

Joey Porter and William Green thought they would get their idiotic streak fully fleshed out before the opening kickoff. In the pre-game warm-up, the two became embroiled in a rather heated fight. Nobody ever mentioned a possible cause for the fight. I would guess they were discussing the relative validity of the appointment of Condoleeza Rice as the new Secretary of State for the United States, and things just got out of hand. Good times were not had by all.
